Artist, Aaron Laux Designs
Aaron Laux is a furniture designer and sculptor. His work can be found in personal collections throughout the United States as well as in restaurants and public art installations in his home town Madison, Wisconsin. He is known and respected as a responsible contractor and a tenacious visionary. His portfolio extends from kitchen and household cabinetry to custom sculptural pieces and one of a kind furniture.
Laux, a native Wisconsinite, attended UW Madison art school and later went on to study under famous furniture maker Steve Spiro from 1992-1998. He spent one year abroad in South India, and a number of years in the western United States studying ancient tool making and survival skills. He is married and is active in many community projects including gardens and public sculpture. He is an avid gardner and lives in Madison with his wife and two year old daughter, Daisy.
