Amanda Wegner

As the creative director of Clean Wisconsin, the state’s largest environmental nonprofit, Amanda Wegner oversees the organization’s brand identity through print and digital communications and manages the organization’s digital media. Through these channels, she has successfully grown Clean Wisconsin’s online presence and capacity through strategic integrated digital media campaigns that support Clean Wisconsin’s policy and legal work, membership retention and recruitment efforts, and online fundraising.

Amanda is a print media veteran skilled at writing, editing and design, but she has quickly adapted her skills and experience to the digital sphere. As a freelance communications professional, she edited and wrote for numerous publications and websites at the local, regional and national levels, including Wisconsin Trails, KIWI magazine and yogajournal.com, and provided design and other strategic communications services to clients. She is also a fitness instructor and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Amanda has an English degree from UW-Madison.

Clean Wisconsin

As the state’s largest environmental advocacy organization, Clean Wisconsin protects Wisconsin´s clean water and air and advocates for clean energy by being an effective voice in the state legislature and by holding elected officials and polluters accountable. Our mission is to protect the special places that make Wisconsin such a wonderful place to live, work and play.
