Corey Dane

Corey hails from Chicago, Illinois where he received his BFA in Theatre from the University of Illinois, Champaign and worked as a voice over artist and theatre administrator before moving to Tucson, Arizona. There he hosted two television shows for the city of Tucson and a segment on locally loved businesses for Clear Channel Radio. Shortly after his arrival he took a job as Tucson’s first Community Manager for Yelp, the review site and free mobile app that harnesses the power of user generated reviews to help consumers find the best and most magnificent ways to spend their hard-earned money. In the summer of 2012 Corey relocated to Wisconsin where he currently serves as Community Director for Yelp in Madison. In addition to writing useful, cool and laugh-out-loud reviews on everything from bars to boutiques, he pens a weekly newsletter, partners with the small business community, event planners and nonprofit organizations to coordinate all sorts of hip happenings. He also shares his favorite local business findings bi-monthly on NBC15's The Morning Show with Christine Bellport and Charlie Shortino.
