Supervising is hard and worse, 'No one teaches it anymore'. You step into a position with more leadership authority and you're left to sink or swim on your own. You work hard. You know what needs to be done. You create a shared understanding about what needs to get done. You train, orient, supervise and still the work isn't done right. Your not alone. In this brief workshops, you'll be introduced to one of the key concepts of effective supervision, 'providing feedback'. If you dread providing constructive / negative feedback this workshop will provide a system for you to provide feedback to staff and volunteers that will result in improved performance and a good working environment. Great for new supervisors and a good refresher for experienced staff.
