Sterling Lynk

Executive Director
Madison Area Down Syndrome Society, Inc.

Sterling Lynk is the founder and Managing Director of MightyPurpose Coaches and Strategists.  A coach and mentor for over 15 years with a core passion for developing leaders and advocates, Sterling originally started MightyPurpose as a "purpose project" because to him nothing could be mightier than to help one person, and then many, find their own purpose, be used for that purpose every day, and then share their gifts with the world.  In late 2014 Sterling expanded the scope of the project by formerly launching MightyPurpose Coaches and Strategists, an executive coaching and strategic consulting services practice.  The inspiration for this relaunch was his personal experience with a number of profound and productive relationships in his life where he was guided and where he was called to guide.

Sterling is the former Executive Director of the Madison Area Down Syndrome Society, Inc. (www.madss.org) and the current President of Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action, Inc. (www.dsaia.org).  A sought after mentor, Sterling is also a frequent speaker on topics related to leadership, governance and strategy.  He has been locally and nationally recognized for his leadership and service by the Aspen Institute (www.aspeninstitute.org), the National Urban League (www.nul.org), the National Down Syndrome Society (www.ndss.org), In Business Magazine (www.ibmadison.com), and Madison College (madisoncollege.edu).
