While stress of life takes its toll on many of us, there is a pathway to strengthening our capacities for dealing with life’s uncertainties. That pathway is resilience: the human capacity that enables us to be strong in the face of adversity. This session presents an innovative model for understanding personal resilience and identifies the key characteristics that enable someone to be resilient in the face of adversity and stress and offers strategies for developing resilience in yourself and others. You will have the ability to assess your own resilience by using the Resilience Quotient self-assessment and create a plan for building resilience capacities based upon the results.
