Your ticket includes the cost of a coffee and beverages, a light breakfast, lunch, a keynote, snacks, and more. Your ticket is the key to a day-long experience that includes learning, engagement, exposure, awareness raising, and a celebration of you and the work you do. Discounts range from 30% to 50% based on how many staff/volunteer are being registered. We support your efforts to provide your staff with professional development and networking opportunities.

Keynote Speaker
Oscar Mireles
Poet Laureate, City of Madison
Serves as a cultural ambassador for poetry in the City of Madison— Bringing poetry to the community and the community to poetry. Mireles is also a teacher and author. He states his greatest honor has been serving as executive director at the Omega School.
Mireles, from Racine, Wisconsin, writes about life as a Latino and is known for his poetry anthology titled “I Didn’t Know There Were Latinos in Wisconsin.”
In 2016, Madison Magazine, who recognizes who's who with their annual 'M List', recognized Oscar as an individual having an impact on our local culture and economy.

Sessions
We're a single-day conference, packed with a bevy of sessions. Select the skills you want to gain or the ideas that interest you the most. Learn from our presenters (new and experienced) and your peers. Most of the sessions have a some level of participant engagement. This is a sessions' list, the final schedule with rooms and times will be released by October 16th, online and in the Whova app.

Madison Nonprofit Day is a social sector, capacity building project founded by Collaboration for Good, but would be impossible to provide without the generous help and contributions of our partners and sponsors. From time (volunteer organizers) to space (pre-conference and other activities) to financial contributions (food, scholarships, conference bags, and much more), our partners and sponsors make Madison Nonprofit Day happen. Volunteer Opportunities
Madison Nonprofit Day takes a massive effort to put on. Every year, we have 60+ volunteer opportunities that will get you into the conference and all associated events and activities for free. Take a look at our volunteer opportunities on SignUp.com. It is mobile friendly, if not as visual as Google Sheets. What to sign-up for?: If your stuck, the volunteers most needed by us are — Room Hosts, Ambassadors; Information Tables. Our Set-up, Check-In, and Registration slots are all full.
Scholarship Opportunities
Every year we provide scholarships for individuals who could not afford to attend any other way. To receive a scholarship, you can apply online. The availability is limited, and when the set aside tickets are gone, they are gone. The process is quick and easy. You provide us your name, position/title, the name of the nonprofit you work for or your non-work status (retired, volunteer, unemployeed, etc.). Once a week, we generate tickets for as long as tickets are available. We will inactive the button, when scholarships run out.
