Creating Intergenerational Volunteer Opportunities
Karin Krause
Hope & A Future
Participants will explore the benefits of volunteerism for all ages. Volunteering has the potential for building new relationships and healthy communities. Through an interactive process, participants will design volunteer opportunities that are fun and facilitate robust intergenerational exchange and community building. As a group, we will discuss ethical ground rules and the division of labor! People volunteer for different reasons, not the least of which is to make new friends! We will talk about how we can nurture that process.
