Influencing Meetings as a Participant

We attend most of our meetings and events as a participant, not a meeting leader or facilitator. As a participant, what can you do to help the session run more smoothly or shift the trajectory of an event in a way that is helpful and respectful? This workshop will describe a variety of ways participants can use mindfulness and reflective practices to be a facilitative participant before, after, and during a meeting. This workshop will be interactive: participants will practice techniques, as well as break into small groups to discuss the topic.
