Introduction to Finding Grants

Learn the 10 most important things you need to know about finding grants for your non-profit organization, as well as general grant seeking tips. This workshop is suitable for staff, volunteers, directors, and board of directors of nonprofit organizations. The second half will be database demonstrations and hands-on searching.

Prerequisite or Takeaways
 The first section, about an hour, will be a presentation with plenty of time for questions and conversations on finding funding. The second section, about an hour, will be dedicated to demonstration and hands-on exploration of two key funding databases: Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Maps.
