I am an enthusiastic, active, storytelling, nature-nerd, who LOVES connecting with people. As much as I adore exploring and learning about nature, I love collaborating with people to help protect our environment, which is exactly what I do in my work. As a Natural Resources Educator with UW-Madison Division of Extension, I work with networks, organizations, and stakeholders to build capacity in improving water quality. I firmly believe everything in work should be fun which is why I work with my colleagues, Jessica Beckendorf and Sharon Lezberg, in utilizing applied improv exercises to create a better working environment that is collaborative, builds trust, promotes innovation, and, above all, makes us laugh!

Michelle works for UW-Madison Division of Extension as a Natural Resource Educator based in Madison and serving southeast Wisconsin. She works to engage and build capacity among stakeholders in the Rock River watershed to improve water quality. Specifically, she facilitates organizational development and strategic planning processes, and develops, delivers, and evaluates programs related to conservation and water quality.
