When Good is not Good Enough
Frank Martinelli
The Center for Public Skills Training

In spite of the valiant efforts of many caring people and organizations over many years, life has not improved for countless Wisconsinites. To create real change, we need to shift attention from modest service goals to courageous actions that challenge systems. We need to reposition the nonprofit sector as a powerful force for deep-systems change. Four key strategies can help tackle the root causes for many of the social, economic, and political problems we face. Good is not good enough—nonprofits need to direct more efforts at actually changing the underlying systems.
