We are primarily a single-day skills building and networking conference, but there's always a lot going on. Use this as a quick access point to our major moving parts. If you already registered, don't stop reading the attendee emails. We'll keep you notified.
the workshops
We have a dynamic array of workshops to advance your skills, knowledge, connections, and careers. We're not your typical conference, where you'll know all the workshops a year or more in advance. Our goal is to have speakers present on relevant topics. This means our competitve submission process happens only a few months ahead of the conference.
View Workshopsthe speakers
Each year, we try to introduce you to a variety of presenters and panelists. Some are hghly rated returnees and others are new to our event. Speakers and workshops are, in-part, selected by early registrants, so take a moment to meet them.

proudly serving the social sector since 2008
Madison Nonprofit Day is a volunteer-driven, single-day, skills and networking conference, that provides a robust offering of workshops, activities, and opportunities for the Greater Madison Area and the Midwest at reasonable prices. Tickets are sold, mostly at-cost— which includes breakfast, lunch, a snack, beverages, space rental, and associated costs. We work with sponsoring organizations to offer scholarships, provide free access to volunteers, and discounted tickets for loyal subscribers. Our goal is to create a valuable experience for the Midwest Social Sector that doesn't require a $900 price tag.
Lunch Connect 4x4!
Introducing a new and hopefully fun way to meet people at the Madison Nonprofit Day Conference. This year Madison Nonprofit Day would like to help facilitate networking and community building by being a hub for making connections. Introducing Lunch 4x4!
One-to-One Networking
While Ask-an-Expert has been canceled for 2018, we are still offering some options to schedule one-to-one sessions with our social media and tech volunteers, conference ambassadors, and one local construction company that works with nonprofits and churches. You can schedule 15-minute sessions to ask a question, get an introduction, and or have a brief conversation. How it works. Select an individual from below, read their quick profile, check their availability, then schedule a meeting. They will receive a text message of the appointment. They can accept or reject. If they accept, they will meet you at Hall of Ideas E (the Social Media/Tech Room) at the scheduled time. The list of available volunteers is below in the details section.
WORT Radio Roundtable - Pivotal Moments
Madison Nonprofit Day's annual WORT Radioshow, "The Roundtable". This year's show invites social good leaders to discuss pivotal moments. A precursor to Friday, October 5th's Nonprofits: Ignite Plenary, the roundtable will invite debate and discussion around people, ideas, and circumstances that allowed them to transform themselves, their direction, and or the organizations they lead.
