Jerry M. Moore & Laura H.Moore

Jerry Moore is a sustainable community planner and visionary who is currently working on a project to reduce homelessness through intentional communities in northern WI. His experience is expansive and through thoughtful consideration and viewing of issues from varying perspectives, he has been instrumental in solving problems for businesses and communities.

Jerry spends his time volunteering for community minded projects and engaging in critical thinking with local leaders. Jerry's personal mission is to help people and communities solve problems big or small through out-of-the-box thinking and leveraging and re-purposing resources.

Laura Moore is a PhD candidate in the field of education, specializing in instructional design for online learning. She is currently striving to inspire young learners at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI as well as managing the Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse program for the Bad River Tribe. With a foundation in learning theory and evidence based practices, Laura advocates for creative solutions to contemporary problems and encourages students and practitioners to visualize outcomes that make a difference and then achieve them.

Laura is approved by the state of Wisconsin to offer the 360 hour Substance Abuse Counselor education, via an online format, that is required for all substance abuse counselors. Additional courses will be added to provide Professional Counselors and Social Workers with valuable knowledge to increase their effectiveness with people who use substances. Laura is also a successful grant writer and evaluator and is available for contracting for either of these endeavors. She has written for and received over 2 million in grant dollars and currently acts as project director/evaluator for 8 grants totaling $850,000 annually.
