With the recent adoption of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, tax-exempt organizations will be facing some serious changes. In this brief session, we will discuss what reporting changes exempt organizations will face, including one of the largest pitfallsÑthe increase to the standard deduction, which could potentially decrease individual charitable giving. We will look at ways to proactively prepare for this loss of contributions and ways to invest our development dollars wisely.
