Andy Davey

The number of nonprofit organizations in Dane County has doubled in the last two decades. To what degree is this proliferation indicative of a nonprofit sector that’s healthy and vibrant or full of redundancies and confusion? What does the sector need to meet the challenges facing our community? To answer these big questions some basic analysis is essential. This session will provide findings from recent research to provide a broad overview of the nonprofit sector in Dane County.

Details

I plan to present research findings in a clear and accessible way - primarily through simple and easy to follow visualized data - and create a space for participants to make comments, ask questions, and discuss what further research or analysis is needed to help further their work on important issues in the community.
