Calli Hughes

I am a graduating senior at UW-Madison and an inspired intern at the Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies. I am exploring and learning about the multitude of facets of the nonprofit sector. I am expanding my understanding and knowledge of community oriented work from my peers, professors, and community leaders.

Calli Hughes is a May 2021 graduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studies Community and Nonprofit Leadership and Mathematics. She serves as the intern for the Revenue Model and Funds Development team at the Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies. She is eager and passionate about the nonprofit sector and is using her experiences in the classroom and at the CommNS to further her understanding for the nonprofit sector and effective change making. In her role at the CommNS, she supports the Revenue Model and Funds Development team in the translation of the Fundraising and Development Conference into a credit based offering. Outside of the CommNS and the classroom, Calli is involved in a variety of student support based organizations on and off campus. She is hopeful to join the nonprofit or education sectors post-graduation to make student oriented change.
